A Little About ​Myself

I am Jean Kubes-Werremeyer, ​I grew up in Minnesota and was creative from the time I was a young child.  In high school the world of creating art opened my eyes and more importantly a little of my soul.  I majored in Art at St. Catherine University - exploring ceramics, painting, drawing and printmaking.

I spent the next 34 years in Colorado teaching elementary and middle school students, as well as exploring, hiking, canoeing and enjoying the beauty and rawness of nature.  Then in 2017 I attended an Intuitive Painting retreat and a Mandala Making class in Wisconsin.  This started a new avenue of art for me that I really love.

In 2019 I returned to Minnesota River Valley where I continue to make/display my art and to teach and co-lead art classes and workshops.
